Finian O'Sullivan, Founder and President This event occurred on: Thursday, 21 February 2008, 6 p.m. Royal Scots Club, 29 Abercromby Place, Edinburgh EH3 6QE |
Synopsis
The International oil and gas business powers ahead. The path to success appears loaded with opportunity, the supporting tail wind flush with cash, ebullient commodity price and depending on the throw of the dice; the journeys end a foregone conclusion. Drawing from thirty years participation in production, exploration (both contractor and operator), shipping and trading, with the experience of employee, employer, project developer and financier, I will develop and share my views of the game afoot!
Speaker
Finian O’Sullivan, age 52, holds a degree in geology and geophysics from University College Galway and was responsible for creating Burren in 1994. He was Chief Executive of the Group until September 2006. Before this Finian pursued an international career spanning 17 years in geophysics and seismic acquisition with Chevron, Geophysical Systems and Olympic Oil and Gas.
