Synopsis
Bruce will explain how Shell has set themselves up as an organisation to identify, create and respond to new play concepts which can sustainably provide exploration with feedstock for new discoveries at a rate of more than 1 Billion boe per year, every year.
Speaker
Bruce is currently VP of Exploration New Ventures in Royal Dutch Shell’s Global Exploration unit. By background a sedimentologist / basin analyst he has worked for Shell since 1978. He is a geologist, who still (!) gets a kick of seeing new geology, new areas and learning more about the earth. He has had with assignments in Shell in Sarawak and Sabah, Continental USA, the UK North Sea and NE Atlantic Margin, and Oman, as well as two spells in Exploration geology research. He has been in current position since 2003.
