Synopsis

Fossil fuels can be burned for energy or used as a raw material in the production of plastics, medicines, chemicals and fertilisers. We know have a finite amount left and need to make the best use of them, but what should we do with our remaining fossil fuels? Join the expert panel assembled by the Science Festival featuring Prof Paul Ekins, Director of the UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources, and Prof Dave Reay, Professor of Carbon Management and Education, University of Edinburgh, to weigh up our options. Also on the panel is Lesley McLeod from Energy UK. Prof. Polly Arnold is chairing the event.
