Synopsis

Shell’s strategic intent is to deliver a world-class investment opportunity and our exploration activity plays a key part in making that a reality – across our global portfolio and in the UK. Delivering this strategy however comes with dilemmas and opportunities. The dilemmas reflect wider societal challenges and are complemented by opportunities, which, properly grasped, will guarantee that exploration will thrive for decades to come.
