The Scottish Oil Club is a national forum for the presentation and discussion of views on the economic, industrial, technological and political aspects of petroleum and other energy resources.

Professor Adrian Todd is our host, showing us their state-of-the-art 3D visualisation technology for reservoir understanding and the application of modelling coal basins in the Forth Basin.  We will also tour the Hearts Training facility at the nearby Sports Academy, followed by drinks and dinner at Heriot-Watt's Scholars Café Bar and Bistro.

Arrangements

Members should arrive at the Conoco Building, Institute of Petroleum Engineering between 6:00-6:30 p.m.  Tours will start at 6:30.  See here for maps to the location.
