2004 Golf Tournament

Golf outing to Blairgowrie Golf Club  on Wednesday 1st September 2004. A tournament will be held in competition for the Edinburgh and Leith Oil Club Trophy played over 18 holes on the Rosemount Course.

The Blairgowrie Golf Club was founded in 1889. It has two 18-hole courses, the older and more celebrated course, the Rosemount, was designed by James Baird. The course measures 6,600 yards and the course record is 64. In 1997 Greg Norman won his first European Tour event, The Martini, over the Rosemount Course.

Arrangements

Members and guests are invited to meet at the clubhouse at 09.30am. Hot filled rolls and coffee will be served. Tee times will commence at 10.22 am through to 11.15 am (8 x 3 balls) 24 players. High tea will be served in the Dining Room at approximately 4.00pm to 4.30pm where presentation of prizes will take place. In addition to the competition for the quaich, a number of other competitions will be organised to run concurrently.

The inclusive cost is £65 including VAT per person. It is anticipated that the event may be oversubscribed. Bookings will be accepted on first come first booked basis and only by post with cheque enclosed. Refunds will only be made if a substitute can be found. A list of reserves will be kept.
